Faith & Identity
I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and questions related to faith and identity. My approach is grounded, collaborative, and shaped around what you need rather than one rigid method.
I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to listen, ask thoughtful questions, help you recognize patterns, and offer practical tools you can use outside of therapy.
Individual Therapy
I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, anxious, depressed, or unsure how to move forward. Together, we can better understand what is happening beneath the surface and build practical tools that feel useful in everyday life.
Couples Therapy
I work with couples who want to communicate more openly, understand recurring patterns, repair after difficult moments, and rebuild trust and connection.
My Approach
I don’t believe therapy should feel scripted. Every person comes in with a different story, different strengths, and different needs, so I draw from several approaches and shape our work around what feels useful and relevant to you.
Therapy should give you room to speak honestly and feel understood, but I also want you to leave with something you can actually use.
-
Person-Centered Therapy
We begin with curiosity, trust, and an understanding of you as a whole person, not a problem to be fixed.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
We may explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors affect one another and find practical ways to interrupt patterns that keep you stuck.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
We may work on emotional regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and tools for navigating difficult moments.
Gottman-Informed Couples Work
For couples, we may focus on communication, conflict repair, friendship, emotional connection, and understanding recurring relationship patterns.

How I Got Here
I didn't set out planning to become a therapist.
In college, I signed up for an introductory psychology class simply because it looked interesting. At the time, I was studying computer science and had never really considered a career in mental health. But as I took more psychology courses, something clicked. Around that same time, I began my own therapy journey and experienced firsthand how meaningful the process could be.
After graduating, I began working with children and teens through therapeutic behavioral intervention programs. Watching therapists help young people and families navigate difficult seasons confirmed what I already suspected: this was the work I wanted to do. I became increasingly fascinated by relationships, emotional patterns, and the ways people grow when they have the right support.
Since then, I've worked across community mental health, local schools, and private practice. Along the way, I've kept coming back to the same lesson: no two people need the exact same approach. What matters more than any single technique is understanding what's actually going on for you, and building from there.
Today, my goal is simple: to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported while we work toward change that actually fits your life.
You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone
Reaching out can feel uncomfortable. Taking the first step doesn’t have to be. If you’re ready to start the conversation, I’d be honored to help.
