Couples Therapy
Virtual couples therapy throughout California, with support for clearer communication, stronger connection, and healthier conflict.
Who is Couples Therapy for?
Couples therapy can help when the same arguments keep repeating, communication feels tense, or the relationship no longer feels as connected as it once did. You may be dealing with emotional distance, defensiveness, trust concerns, parenting stress, a lack of intimacy, or uncertainty about the future.
You do not need to wait until the relationship is in crisis to begin. Together, we can slow down the patterns keeping you stuck, help both partners feel heard, and build healthier ways to communicate. We can also work on navigating conflict, repairing after difficult moments, and understanding one another more clearly.
$180 per 50–60 minute session
Private pay. Superbills are available for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Virtual Throughout California
All sessions are currently offered online to couples located in California. Virtual therapy allows both partners to meet from a private space without adding travel time or another stop to the day.
A Balanced, Collaborative Approach
My role is not to decide who is right or wrong. I create space for both partners to speak honestly, feel heard, and better understand the patterns shaping the relationship.
Our sessions may include practical tools for communication, emotional regulation, conflict repair, and rebuilding connection, with the goal of helping you respond to one another differently outside of therapy.
How We'll Get Started
I keep the process calm and clear, so you always know what to expect.
01. Reach out
Fill out a short contact form telling me a bit about what's going on. No commitment, just a first hello.
02. ConsultATION
We'll set up a free 15 to 20 minute call, by phone or video, so you can ask questions and see if I feel like the right fit before you decide anything.
03. First session
This is our first real session. I'll ask questions to get the full picture of what's going on in your lives, so I understand where you're starting from.
04. Ongoing Therapy
From here, we meet regularly, usually once a week to start, and build the work around what's actually helping you.

The goal is to understand the relationship as a whole before deciding where to begin.
-
My role is not to choose a winner or decide who is right. I work to understand both perspectives, identify the patterns happening between you, and help each partner communicate more clearly and effectively.
-
No. Many couples begin therapy because they want to improve communication, feel closer, or prevent recurring issues from becoming more difficult over time.
-
It is common for partners to begin with different levels of comfort or motivation. The consultation and first session give both of you a chance to ask questions and better understand the process before deciding how to move forward.
-
No. Most insurance plans require an individual mental health diagnosis to process a claim, which means couples therapy typically isn't reimbursed the way individual therapy is. Because of this, couples therapy is private pay.
I can provide a superbill you're welcome to submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement, though reimbursement for couples therapy specifically is uncommon.
-
Couples sessions are $180 per 50 to 60 minute session, and are private pay.
A superbill is available if you'd like to submit it to your insurance, though reimbursement isn't guaranteed.

Sessions are held through a secure video platform and are available to couples located in California. Both partners should join from a private location with a reliable internet connection.

The timeline depends on your concerns, goals, and how regularly you attend. We can check in throughout the process about progress and whether therapy continues to feel useful.
You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone
Reaching out can feel uncomfortable. Taking the first step doesn’t have to be. If you’re ready to start the conversation, I’d be honored to help.
