Insurance & Fees
Clear information on session costs and accepted insurance, so there's no guesswork before we talk.
Session Costs
Individual Therapy: $150 per 50–60 minute session
Couples Therapy: $180 per 50–60 minute session
Insurance for
Individual Therapy
I currently accept the following insurance plans for individual therapy:
Aetna
Anthem Blue Cross of California
Blue Shield of California
Carelon Behavioral Health
Cigna
Oxford (Optum)
United Healthcare
Insurance is processed through Headway or Alma. Once we've confirmed your plan is accepted, I'll send you an invitation to set up your account through one of these platforms. You'll enter your insurance information there, and your copay will be confirmed based on your specific plan and benefits.
Don't see your plan listed? I can provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement isn't guaranteed, so I'd recommend contacting your provider directly to confirm your out-of-network benefits before your first session.
Insurance for
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is private pay.
Most insurance plans require an individual mental health diagnosis to process a claim, which means relationship-focused therapy typically isn't reimbursed the way individual therapy is. I can still provide a superbill for couples sessions if you'd like to submit it to your insurance, though reimbursement for couples therapy specifically is uncommon.
You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone
Reaching out can feel uncomfortable. Taking the first step doesn’t have to be. If you’re ready to start the conversation, I’d be honored to help.
