Website Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
These Website Terms of Use explain the conditions that apply when you visit or use the Wallman Therapy website. This website is operated by Ben Wallman, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT #148757, doing business as Wallman Therapy (“I,” “me,” or “my”).
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and the accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of the website.
Website Information Only
The information provided on this website is intended to help visitors learn about Wallman Therapy, psychotherapy services, areas of support, and how to request a consultation.
Website content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to provide individualized mental health advice, diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, or emergency assistance. Information on this website should not be used as a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare or mental health professional who understands your specific circumstances.
No Therapist-Client Relationship
Visiting this website, reading its content, submitting a contact form, sending an email, calling the practice, or scheduling a consultation does not establish a therapist-client relationship.
A therapist-client relationship is established only after:
You and I have agreed to work together
I have confirmed that I am able to provide appropriate services
You have completed the required intake and informed consent documents
Your first therapy appointment has been scheduled and confirmed
A consultation is an opportunity to discuss what you are looking for and determine whether working together may be a good fit. Requesting or completing a consultation does not guarantee that I will be able to accept you as a client.
Therapy Services and Client Agreements
Wallman Therapy currently provides psychotherapy through telehealth to clients located in California at the time services are provided.
Accessing this website from another state or country does not mean that therapy services are available in that location. Services are subject to availability, clinical appropriateness, licensing requirements, and applicable law.
If you become a client, therapy services will be governed by separate documents, which may include:
Informed Consent for Psychotherapy
Telehealth Consent
Notice of Privacy Practices
Notice to Clients
Practice, scheduling, cancellation, and financial policies
Good Faith Estimate information, when applicable
If these Website Terms conflict with a signed client agreement or other clinical document, the clinical document will control regarding the therapy relationship.
Not an Emergency or Crisis Service
This website, its contact form, email, and voicemail are not monitored continuously and should not be used during a mental health or medical emergency.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, emotional distress, or a mental health crisis, call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988.
Do not use the website contact form to request urgent or emergency assistance.
Contact Forms and Electronic Communication
Information submitted through the website contact form or standard email may not be secure or HIPAA compliant. Please do not include detailed medical information, mental health history, diagnoses, or other sensitive personal information in a website form or standard email.
A brief description of what you are looking for is enough. More sensitive information can be discussed by phone or through the secure SimplePractice client portal.
Submitting a message does not guarantee an immediate response. If you have not received a response and your needs are time-sensitive, contact another qualified provider or appropriate support service.
SimplePractice and Other Third-Party Services
This website may link to or use services provided by third parties, including Squarespace, SimplePractice, Headway, and Alma.
SimplePractice is used for functions such as scheduling, intake paperwork, secure messaging, telehealth, and client records. Headway and Alma are used to process insurance billing for clients using accepted insurance plans. Your use of these platforms is also subject to each platform's own terms, policies, and privacy practices.
The website may also contain links to external websites or resources. These links are provided for convenience or general information. I do not control external websites and am not responsible for their availability, content, accuracy, or privacy practices.
A link to another website does not necessarily mean that I endorse all information, services, or opinions presented there.
Accuracy and Availability
I make reasonable efforts to keep the information on this website accurate and current. However, services, fees, availability, policies, and website content may change.
I do not guarantee that every part of the website will always be complete, current, available, secure, or free from technical errors. Website access may occasionally be interrupted because of maintenance, updates, hosting issues, or circumstances outside my control.
Please contact me directly if you need to confirm current service information.
No Guarantee of Results
Every person, relationship, and therapeutic experience is different. Information presented on this website does not promise or guarantee a particular result from psychotherapy.
Descriptions of services, therapeutic approaches, or potential benefits are general in nature. Progress and outcomes depend on many factors, including the client’s needs, circumstances, participation, goals, and the therapeutic relationship.

Unless otherwise stated, the written content, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, downloads, page designs, and other original materials on this website belong to Wallman Therapy or are used with permission.
You may view and print reasonable portions of the website for your own personal, noncommercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, sell, distribute, or present website content as your own without prior written permission.
